ORIGIN OF CTTC CHAMPION TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER: CTTC was setup by the American NGO, International Relief and Development Organization in the spring of 2006, with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In June of 2008 CTTC became a self sustaining Nonprofit, National Registered NGO # 1183 under the direction of Zaman Rezai General Director.The CTTC is a vocational/Technical Training school and registered as a nonprofit NGO operating in Jalalabad city in Nangarhar Province and in Kabul Afghanistan. The construction training school was established in 2006 under a program funded by the Combined Joint Task Force/E and USAID and implemented by International Relief and Development, Inc. (IRD). The CTTC has successfully graduated over 9000 Tradesman and Engineers from its intensive Vocational and Technical training courses, which include carpentry, masonry, electrical, painting, welding, steelwork, and plumbing. In additional, it has placed 87% into construction jobs and operates its own small construction company that allows students to receive on the job training and employment. CTTC has worked with the variety of donors, including the US Army Corps of Engineers. Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI), GESELL SHAFT FUR TECHNISCHE QUSAMMERABEIT (GTZ), and Provincial Reconstruction Teams (PRT).CTTC is currently recognized as one of the leading Technical Training Firm and Trading Associates in the country. As we expand our technical training, this is expected to continue to grow.Training for Engineers, Contractors and Designers in Technical Classes include: site Engineers Superintendent, General Foremen, Road Construction Design, General Construction Safety, and Health Management, Construction Material Testing Class, Advanced Electrical Class, Advanced Plumbing Class, Total Station Surveying, Construction Quality Management, Construction Project Management, Vertical Structure Engineering, Principle of Bridge Design and Construction Basic Surveying.Training of Craftsmen and Tradesmen to become Skilled Workers in the construction industry in Afghanistan. CTTC is a one of a kind vocational school which combines seven trade classes, (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting , welding, masonry and steel work) with practical training in each field it is now the largest Vocational / Technical Training school in Afghanistan.Certified material Testing Laboratories Providing a testing for Contractors and Construction Projects Certified by the US Army Corps of Engineering the labs test GEO Technical Investigation, Concrete, Asphalt (AS), Aggregates (AG), Soils, Hydraulic Cement tests, Brick & Concrete Masonry, Steel Tests, Water Tests and others with a complete listing on our web site www.cttc-af.org, both in house and in field services are available.
